Domestic zinc demand declined

Primary consumption of zinc ingot is mainly concentrated in the field of zinc plating. In 2016, China produced a total of 59.36 million tons of galvanized steel sheet, equivalent to 5.5155 million tons of galvanized steel sheet, an increase of 13.5% over the same period of last year. The net export of galvanized sheet was 7.014 million tons, up 10.5% over the same period of last year.
